Ice Pillow Project. An investigation into the aesthetics of winter as metaphor for rest, sleep. The pillows were installed as a part of Hallowed Ground - a culture days sculpture event in the Ignatious Cedar Forest, Guelph Ontario. Cedar seeds suspended within the pillows were slowly released as the pillows melted, and eventually disappeared. A metaphor for hibernation. Three pillows were placed within the forest at various locations - to be discovered by the audience. The event, and the pillows, lasted 3 days.
