​SCHEDULES & RATES

The Sky School of Art – 2026 Term


The Sky School of Art operates on a structured seasonal program from June to October, organized into two 8-week terms. All weekday classes are limited to a maximum of 8 participants.

Weekend programming follows an alternating schedule of teaching weekends and studio rest weekends.


CORE PROGRAMS (8-WEEK COURSES)

Each course runs for 8 weeks and meets once per week in a 2-hour evening session.

8:00 – 10:00 PM

Drawing classes are scheduled before painting classes to allow for studio flow and material cleanup.

Drawing: Technical Practice

Mondays | 5:30–7:30 PM
Term 1: June 22 – August 10
Term 2: August 17 – October 19 (No class September 7,  No class October 12)

Drawing: Historical & Material Exploration

​WEEKEND INTENSIVES

​
Weekend programming follows a structured alternating schedule of teaching weekends and studio rest weekends.

All workshops are limited in capacity and run on Saturday only unless otherwise noted.


Chromatic Embodiment Series

Every Other Saturday from June - October | 9:00 – 12:00 AM

Session Dates:  July 25th (Magenta), Aug 8th (Red), August 22nd(Orange), Sept 5th (Yellow),  Sept 26th(Green),  October 10th (Cyan/Blue), October 24th (Purple)


$100 per participant (3-hour session)
Max 6 participants

A 7-part experiential series exploring colour as embodied perception. Sign up for  as few or as many as you like! (10% discount if you sing up for all 7)

Each session focuses on one colour:
Magenta, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Cyan/Blue, Purple.

Each workshop includes movement, sensory exploration, journaling, intention setting, and studio-based work using pigment, ink, pastel, paint, and mixed media.

​Unblocking Perception: Creative Release Workshop

Every Other Saturday from June - October | 1:00 – 4:00 PM

Session Dates:  July 25th, Aug 8th, August 22nd, Sept 5th,  Sept 26th,  October 10th, October 24th


$150 per participant (3-hour session)
Max 4 participants

A guided studio workshop focused on loosening control, breaking habitual image-making patterns, and reconnecting with intuitive creative process through fast exercises and material exploration.

SUNDAY WORKSHOPS (FLEX SCHEDULING)


Occasional Sunday workshops (including Sacred Geometry, Mandala Practice, and Silicone Form) may be offered on selected Program Weekends depending on demand.

These sessions are not part of the regular schedule and will be announced separately.
